As India commemorates the 75th anniversary of its Constitution in 2025, it becomes imperative to engage the younger generation in understanding and embodying the foundational values that have shaped our nation. The "Being Lawful" workshop is designed for students from 9th to 12th standard, with an aim to help them recognize the Constitution's relevance in their daily conduct. This initiative aspires to transform the topic of Constitution from a mere academic subject into a lived experience for students, fostering a generation that upholds and cherishes democratic principles through CBSE school programs on Samvidhan, civics, and government.
Vision: Celebrate the spirit of constitution and instill a sense of pride and respect for it.
Mission: Promote ethical conduct and empower GenZ as catalysts for positive change.
In their vulnerability, children need protection from life's injustices. This book serves as a guide, imparting knowledge about their rights, safety measures, and remedies in challenging situations. Additionally, as they grow, they must comprehend their responsibilities, respect others' rights, and grasp the significance of 'Being Lawful', the central theme of this book.
As empowered citizens, children have the ability to shape the future of India. The book encourages them to expand their focus beyond self-interest to encompass society, our country, and the entire world. Embracing the philosophy of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam—the global family—is what the world needs today.
May this book provide a fresh perspective on this journey, proving valuable not only to children but also to their parents and teachers.

Being Lawful is not just a book about laws - it is about the art of living harmoniously in society.
In writing this book, my purpose was to show that when we choose to be lawful, we contribute to a peaceful and stable society where everyone can grow, learn, and thrive. Lawfulness is not merely about following rules; it is about understanding our place in the larger social fabric and acting with a sense of responsibility and purpose.
Drawing from our Constitution, ancient civilizational texts, and timeless values, Being Lawful invites adolescents and young adults to explore the deeper meaning of citizenship—not just in terms of rights, but equally in terms of duties. A duty-bound society is a strong society. And when citizens become aware, responsible, and active, the nation naturally rises to greater heights.
The workshop and website are designed to carry forward the same mission: to spark curiosity, build awareness, and encourage lawful behavior through real-life scenarios, thoughtful activities, and fun games. Law is not just a subject for lawyers—it’s a tool for every citizen to live with dignity, responsibility, and courage.
